Our Beginning
How we met
Gideon and Priscilla first met in the summer of 2023 at Big Church Day Out in Sussex, where their shared love for Christ and heart for serving others sparked an immediate connection. Though their conversation was brief and they went their separate ways afterward, the encounter left a lasting impression on them both.
At the time, Gideon had recently returned from the United States after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and four years as a Division 1 football athlete at the University of Central Florida. He had begun pursuing a Master’s in Health Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Priscilla had just completed medical school at the University of Nottingham and started her Foundation training in Preston, alongside further studies toward a Master’s in Global Health with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
The Journey
A beautiful reunion
A few months later, their paths crossed again unexpectedly in Manchester at Paulina & Family Bakery, where Priscilla was helping her mum and Gideon had come to collect an order. Surprised and delighted to see each other again, they quickly discovered they were now living in the same city.
What began as a chance reunion soon grew into meaningful conversations, grounded in faith, prayer, and a shared desire to follow God’s direction for their lives. With clarity and confirmation, they chose to begin their journey together as a couple.

Growing together
Since then, Gideon and Priscilla have continued to grow both individually and together, actively serving in their churches and investing in young people’s ministry.
They cherish the simple joys of life walks, coffee dates, reading, painting, singing and value the quiet moments as much as the milestones. Their relationship is rooted in faith, friendship, and purpose, and they look forward to building a life that reflects their love for God and for one another.
What started as a brief encounter has become a journey shaped by faith, love, and God’s perfect timing. As we step into this next chapter together, we are grateful for every moment that brought us here and excited for all that lies ahead.
